Rust
As a barrier it's hard to beat ice and water shield roofing membrane.It's
easily cut with ordinary sissors,stays in place due to the adhesive backing
on one side,easy to work with because it doesn't stick till you remove the
paper and expose that adhesive.Best of all it's completely non staining,not
even on paint.
I've seen a translucent membrane that's similar that a friend uses on light
colored stone.This type has an adhesive on both sides and he uses it to afix
stone basins to pedestals for garden art and fountains.
