Cor 10T Rust is a Feature, not a Bug
Thanks guys.
I had a pile of 1/16th lead sheet sitting about so I cut an exact
"membrane", spacer, whatever, out of it to fit between marble sculpture and
steel surface, I almost went along the gasket material path but argued that
I had the stuff, it was pretty dense, soft and above all else oxidises to an
acceptable colour in relation to the both my marble and the steel. The only
way to tell how well it works is to put the whole assembly outside my
studio, keep it wet and watch what happens.
The 1/16th line between sculpture and stand looks great.
Please don't all tell me that lead when it oxidises will stain the marble
dirty grey.
Thanks again Clive
