Soapstone repair
Howdy folks. I'm asking this on behalf of a friend of my father's,
who has a broken Inuit soapstone sculpture in need of repair. I
haven't seen it yet but since this crowd were early collectors back in
the 60s I suspect it's a nice one.
For my own work I just use epoxy, which seems to work well. However=20
I was wondering if there's a preferred archival technique for
restoring things like this.
Thanks.
