Hertfordshire puddingstone
Hello all from the UK,
I'm a wood and stone carver from the Dallas, TX area, and I am working
with a client that is interested in this stone. It is a conglomerate
that consists of a light brownish binding with quartz and flint
pebbles of various sizes. The project is a fireplace surround, and the
client is very high profile, (in the Dallas area), so if it's possible
and available, he can afford to purchase the material. I had never
heard of this stone until today, and my 2 hours of web research has
led me to believe that only the occasional boulder is left...usually
in someone's front yard or a park. Can anyone steer me to a source
that may be of some help?

Thanks much,
