Dont be shocked George, hahaha...I will maybe mention bronze again so we can
get responses and feedback, I didn't think it was so bad because I would
like to do bronze sometime.I am afraid of metals and have envisioned stone
torsos with metal breasts...
I know what you say about artists and making money, some artists just
commercialize themselves and maybe it is because they have to survive with
art. It is also easy to see the money offered and say no......Art dealers
can be tricky, they can make you or destroy you and art galleries sometimes
when they represent you play the game of the investors. So many rich people
don't buy their art for themselves, they have others telling them what is a
good investment and they are told what is good and not. Spain is not yet
like that. People buy because they love art, but I am sure we will get on
the investment wagon sooner or later.
I agree with you on the figurative, usually we emphasize on perfection and
it is not really necessary.....but......if I could master the human body and
not static but moving, with the muscles, the tendons, even irregularities
on skin .....if I could do that in marble.....then I would feel in
ecstasy........
I love to do abstract, it always comes from the folds of females or that is
what I see when I am doing it........I don't know, I love it all........just
touching the stone gives me pleasure......
Yes, this kind of talk as you say would be better at the beach with a
bonfire, some wine, cheese and sourdough bread...am I thinking of San
Francisco again?
I like your abstract...BUT...........I love your figurative. I can see a new
one- Passion---- didn't see it before and I check.....Love the way those
breasts surrender and seem to be offered in truly passion.....
