Dulce, and others.
I could not agree more with what you've said, and I would hope that we are
never limited in our discussions, and the links some share to stone and
stone only.
Personally, stone is my only medium, and I carve it, sculpt it, build with
it, collect the occassional interesting piece, and even at this advanced
age, sometimes still skip flat ones across the creek. However, I do look
at and appreciate other forms of sculpture, (and craft) both in person at
galleries, shows , museums, and in some of the periodicals that grace my
mailbox each month. Admittedly, much of it leaves me confused, and even
agast, but then if everything was to everyone's likeing, we'ed be living in
a real boring world.

Here is a link for those of you (who don't know the site) where sculpture
is the focus. http://www.sculpture.net/community/ And yes, even stone is
occassionally brought up.

JVC/ JVC Stoneworks.

I welcome art in any form and shape, by anybody. I recognize
when I see a young artists creating things that I would never think of and
I
admire that artists.
