Introducing Myself
Hello All -
I have been on the mailing list for a year or so now,
just reading and taking the bits of wisdom as they come.
I am a one-time sculptor, who would love to be a current
sculptor, but have been hampered the last few years by
space and money constrictions.
Currently I live in San Francisco and am ready to get
back into it. I am wondering if anyone out there knows
A) a good place to buy tools either in the Bay area or
mail order--I have none (also what brand/type tools I
should get, and what a basic set would consist of).
B) a good source for stone, limestone is what I have
worked on, but I'm willing to explore, and
C) any good workshops or sculptors willing to instruct a
novice in the Bay area.
LAstly, I want to thank everyone for their
participation, humor, and knowledge. This is a great,
inspiring group!
